L'Interdit Édition Couture 2020

L’Interdit Édition Couture 2020 is the second couture edition of L’Interdit, the Eau de Parfum by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal. Givenchy keeps the 2018 juice and engraves the bottle with a black Calais lace pattern and Hubert de Givenchy’s signature, a motif it repeats on a lipstick and a powder from the collection.

L’Interdit Édition Couture 2020 dresses the 2018 Eau de Parfum in a new lace decoration. Givenchy had offered a first Édition Couture in 2019; the formula by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal remains unchanged.

A three-piece collection

The edition belongs to the Couture Edition 2020 collection, which brings together three of the house’s products under a black Calais lace pattern: L’Interdit, the Le Rouge 306 Carmin Escarpin lipstick and the Prisme Libre n° 1 Mousseline Pastel powder.

Calais lace is among Hubert de Givenchy’s favorite materials and has long been a signature of his couture house’s wardrobe. The designer’s handwritten signature accompanies the pattern on each piece of the collection.
