Alien Extraintense is an Eau de Parfum by Thierry Mugler launched in 2025, composed by Dominique Ropion, who had already signed the original Alien in 2005. Where to buy

Alien Extraintense belongs to the Alien line by Thierry Mugler, born in 2005, which now includes several flankers, among them Alien Goddess, Alien Goddess Supra Florale, Alien Goddess Intense and Alien Hypersense, released in 2024. Now Smell This places this 2025 launch as the flanker that comes after Alien Hypersense.

The composition is signed by Dominique Ropion, who had already composed the original Alien Eau de Parfum in 2005, according to the house.

Casey Cadwallader has held the artistic direction of the Mugler house since 2017, with the mission, according to the house, of preserving the brand's bold identity while placing it within contemporary collections. Alien Extraintense follows this creative continuity.

The house describes Alien Extraintense as an interpretation that pushes the sensuality and sillage of the Alien signature to the extreme, blending jasmine, tuberose, a vanilla accord and cashmeran wood for a version it describes as addictive and extraordinary.

Anok Yai, Extraintense metamorphosis

The 2025 campaign features Anok Yai, photographed by Craig McDean, in a short film evoking a transformation toward another existence.

The campaign for Alien Extraintense features the model Anok Yai, photographed by Craig McDean under the creative direction of Casey Cadwallader, according to the credits noted by the specialized press. Anok Yai had already been the face of Alien Hypersense the previous year.

The press describes a short film in which Anok Yai transforms into a creature from another world at the moment she sprays the fragrance, a staging presented as an invitation to a journey toward another existence. The perfumer Dominique Ropion states, according to Essence, that Alien Extraintense explores the enthralling and voluptuous aspects of femininity.
