1. Publisher

Olfastory is published on a non-professional basis by an individual. In accordance with Article 1-1, II of Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, as amended by Law No. 2024-449 of May 21, 2024, the publisher preserves their anonymity: only the name and address of the host are made available to the public. The publisher's identifying information has been provided to the host, which is bound by professional secrecy in this respect, though this secrecy is not enforceable against judicial authorities.

Any request to exercise the right of reply provided for in Article III of the same law should be addressed to the host, who will forward it without delay to the director of publication.

Olfastory is an encyclopedia and magazine devoted to perfume culture. The information published is provided for documentary purposes; it is neither exhaustive nor contractual and is subject to change. The publisher endeavors to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or omissions, including for information sourced from third parties.

4. Terms of use

Use of the site constitutes acceptance of this notice, which may be amended at any time. The site is accessible at all times, subject to interruptions necessary for maintenance.

5. Intellectual property

The publisher holds the intellectual property rights, or rights of use, to the elements it has created and that are accessible on the site: text, images, graphics, logo, icons.

Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorization — requested at contact@olfastory.com, and granted readily in most cases. Any unauthorized use may constitute infringement within the meaning of Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

The photographs published may not be reproduced in any way. Trademarks and product names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely for documentary purposes.

6. Outbound and affiliate links

The site contains links to third-party sites, including retailer sites, over whose content the publisher exercises no control and assumes no responsibility.

Some of these links are affiliate links: a purchase made after clicking may result in a commission being paid to the publisher, without any increase in the price paid. These links operate in particular through affiliate platforms such as Awin and CJ, and through the Amazon Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, Olfastory earns from qualifying purchases.

The publisher shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the site, including those related to malfunction, incompatibility, or interruption of access.
