1. Publisher

Olfastory is published on a non-professional basis by a private individual. In accordance with Section II of Article 1-1 of Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, as introduced by Law No. 2024-449 of May 21, 2024, the publisher preserves its anonymity: only the name and address of the host are made available to the public. The publisher’s identifying information has been provided to the host, which is bound by professional secrecy in this respect; that secrecy cannot be invoked against the judicial authorities.

Any request to exercise the right of reply provided for in Section III of the same article is addressed to the host, which forwards it without delay to the publication director.

3. Purpose of the site

Olfastory is an encyclopedia and magazine devoted to perfume culture. The information published is provided for documentary purposes; it is neither exhaustive nor contractual and may change. The publisher strives to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions, including information originating from third parties.

4. Terms of use

Use of the site constitutes acceptance of this legal notice, which may be modified at any time. The site is accessible at all times, subject to interruptions required for its maintenance.

5. Intellectual property

The publisher holds the intellectual property rights, or the rights of use, to the elements it has created that are accessible on the site: text, images, graphics, logo, icons.

Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorization — to be requested at olfastory@gmail.com, and gladly granted in most cases. The photographs published may not be reproduced in any form. The trademarks and product names cited belong to their respective owners and are mentioned for documentary purposes only.

The site contains links to third-party sites, including retail sites, over whose content the publisher exercises no control and for which it assumes no responsibility.
