L'Interdit Rouge Ultime
L’Interdit Rouge Ultime opens a new chapter of L’Interdit Rouge in 2023. Givenchy warms the line’s white bouquet of orange blossom, jasmine and tuberose with an extract of upcycled cocoa shells, over a woody base of patchouli, vetiver and ambroxan, and dresses it in an opaque red-lacquered bottle.

Givenchy launched L’Interdit Rouge Ultime in 2023 as a new chapter of L’Interdit Rouge, the 2021 Eau de Parfum. The house intends it for women who dare a more pronounced sensuality and gives it a gourmand warmth drawn from cocoa.
Upcycled cocoa
Givenchy explains that the Madagascar cocoa shells, usually discarded, are upcycled and turned into an extract to reveal the full power of the note. An accord of patchouli and vetiver extends it, and a touch of ambroxan completes the formula.
Red, the house’s color since its founding according to Givenchy, covers the entire bottle here. The Ultime version pushes the shade of L’Interdit Rouge to opacity and ranks among the warm woody florals.
