L’Heure Bleue x Begüm Khan

For the release of L’Heure Bleue 2026 on August 28, 2026, Guerlain entrusts the bottle of its new eau de parfum to the jeweler Begüm Khan. The result is an exceptional 1.5-liter piece, numbered and limited to 66 copies worldwide.

An Istanbul jeweler

Begüm Kıroğlu grew up in Istanbul in a family of Ottoman art collectors. In 2012 she founded her jewelry house, Begüm Khan, whose pieces are made by hand by the artisans of her Istanbul workshops.

Her collaboration with Guerlain began in 2021, when she adorned the Bee Bottle with an imperial bee resting on four flowers, for Thierry Wasser’s Le Songe de la Reine. She dressed the same bottle again for the 2023 holiday season, around Imagine.

Iris turned into jewelry

For L’Heure Bleue, Begüm Khan starts from the material at the center of the perfume, iris, and turns it into jewelry. A cascade of iris flowers falls from the neck of the bottle, set with 12,224 stones in shades of sapphire, turquoise and indigo.

The jewel is made of bronze plated with 24-carat gold. Each stone is set by hand in the designer’s Istanbul workshop, for a piece the house ranks among its exceptional creations.

A size already celebrated

The 1.5-liter inverted-heart bottle is not a first for the line. In 2022, for the 110th anniversary of L’Heure Bleue, Guerlain had already produced it in this size, entirely painted in International Klein Blue with the Yves Klein Archives.

The approach changes meaning in 2026: the Klein edition dressed the 1912 composition, whereas Begüm Khan’s piece accompanies an entirely new eau de parfum, released in August 2026.
