REPLICA When the Rain Stops

REPLICA When the Rain Stops is a unisex eau de toilette by Maison Margiela, announced in December 2021 in the Replica collection and composed by Fanny Bal. The memory of a spring shower in Dublin in 1967, this woody aquatic pairs bergamot, a vegetal accord and pink pepper with an aquatic accord, Isparta rose and jasmine, over a base of pine needles, Bali patchouli and moss.

Where to buy

REPLICA When the Rain Stops joined Maison Margiela’s Replica collection at the end of 2021: Now Smell This announced it on 13 December, in ten, thirty and one hundred milliliter bottles at Sephora in the United States. The memory is set in Dublin, in 1967.

The house tells of a spring afternoon when the sky calms down, raindrops roll off the windows and the smell of wet earth rises into the air, with soaked grass and rays of sunshine breaking through. It sees in it a fresh start, a new beginning.

Fanny Bal, to whom the collection already owed Autumn Vibes, released earlier in 2021, signs the composition. In Ireland, Brown Thomas and Arnotts offered it in June 2022, and Sephora files it among unisex fragrances in France.
