Lili Fantasy

Romano Ricci launched his brand in 2006. Grandson of Robert Ricci and great-grandson of the couturière Nina Ricci, he turns Shakespeare’s heroine into a woman of today, armed with a perfume as with an instrument of seduction.

Lili Fantasy arrived in the fall of 2021, the year of the brand’s fifteenth anniversary, after Musc Invisible, Lipstick Fever and Pear Inc. The Fragrance Foundation France then saw in it a tuberose and a jasmine gathered around a bubblegum accord.

What the house says

Romano Ricci says he imagined a Juliette as light as a bubble of champagne, frivolous and disobedient, a heroine who tastes every pleasure and leads the dance. The house makes her the queen of Parisian nights, whose secret bears this name.

It speaks of a scandalous perfume, in which white flowers and ambery notes are perverted by a gourmand twist whose name cannot be spoken. Its motto fits in a few English words: Too Fab to give a damn.

The house places Lili Fantasy among the ambery florals, with a medium-volume trail. It claims 39% upcycled ingredients, 89.1% ingredients of natural origin and a formula that is 90.9% biodegradable.

Lili Fantasy comes in one-hundred- and fifty-milliliter bottles, and in a 7.5-milliliter travel spray.
