L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense appeared in 2020 and takes the underground flower of L’Interdit into darkness. Givenchy blends a Madagascar vanilla, a roasted black sesame and an accord of vetiver and patchouli into the bouquet of orange blossom and tuberose, all opened by black pepper, in a black-lacquered bottle.

Givenchy launched L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense in 2020, two years after the Eau de Parfum that revived the 1957 name and a year after the Eau de Toilette. The house says it takes the thrill of L’Interdit to its peak.
An ode to black
Givenchy presents a floral woody oriental fragrance, highly sophisticated and resolutely couture, which it sums up as an ode to black. The line’s underground flower takes on dark nuances here, in contact with oriental facets.
The house calls it the blackest and most intense underground flower of the line, carried by a smooth vanilla and an unexpected black sesame, over the woody accord of vetiver and patchouli that belongs to L’Interdit.
