Where to buy
As it happens, the Christmas holidays are among his favorite times of year. To celebrate them properly, Jean-Paul Gaultier decided to create a limited edition of his fragrance Scandal. What if Mother Christmas had literally fallen for its bottle? So grab your gloves and scarf, the new Scandal Boule à Neige of 2019 takes you to the heart of the glaciers!
Scandal Boule à Neige gets a new bottle
Scandal Boule à Neige already promises to delight collectors and Christmas lovers with its new bottle. Its shape itself remains unchanged. Scandal Boule à Neige still keeps its transparent glass base, revealing a rosy juice, in a rounded, generous form. On top of this bottle, Jean-Paul Gaultier has also kept the pretty pair of legs. This time, however, they are dressed in red and white wool stockings, straight out of a Christmas tale! Scandal Boule à Neige is also presented in an enchanting case. Forming a glass dome, it rests on a red base and contains small snowflakes. It thus recalls the snow globes we owned as children, which each of us loved to gaze at with wonder. Scandal Boule à Neige is imbued with a certain nostalgia and brings our inner child back to life!
The unchanged formula of Jean-Paul Gaultier's Scandal Boule à Neige
Scandal Boule à Neige is a collector's edition that relies mainly on its bottle to win us over. Indeed, its formula as such remains entirely unchanged. Scandal Boule à Neige opens with an intense freshness of Mandarin and Blood orange. Its heart, meanwhile, becomes more floral. It blends Gardenia, Jasmine and Orange blossom. Patchouli adds more depth to this fragrance, while gourmand flavors resurface. Scandal Boule à Neige contains Honey, Peach, Beeswax, Caramel and Licorice, enough to comfort your heart on cold winter days!
Jean-Paul Gaultier's new advertisement
To promote this fragrance, Jean-Paul Gaultier also relied on a new advertising campaign. This time, the designer's house takes us to a winter sports resort. To the sound of Maria Callas, Scandal Boule à Neige puts on its skis, takes the chairlift and begins a perilous descent, while performing a few breathtaking tricks. Note that it is not the only one to be reinterpreted for these Christmas holidays. Scandal Boule à Neige is joined by Le Mâle Boule à Neige and Le Classique Boule à Neige.
