Jean Paul Gaultier launched Scandal Elixir in January 2026, at the same time as Scandal Pour Homme Elixir. The two fragrances extend Scandal, born in 2017, and Scandal Pour Homme, introduced in 2021; the house raises them to parfum concentration and enriches them with dark fruits.

In first class on the Gaultier train

For this duo, the house imagines a Gaultier train. Scandal Elixir travels in first class, as sultry, it says, as its fruity amber chypre fragrance: behind the hushed mystery of a luxury cabin, a precious iris pushes desire to its peak.

Scandal Pour Homme Elixir also travels aboard this train, with black cherry in place of blackberry. For its heroine, Jean Paul Gaultier speaks of opulence, exuberance and an insolent sensuality, reserved for the most unruly.

A line born in 2017

Scandal, launched in 2017, opened a line of variations that includes So Scandal!, Scandal Absolu, introduced in 2024, and Scandal Intense, in 2025. Scandal Elixir joins it in parfum concentration, in 30, 50 and 80 ml sizes.
