Classique Essence de Parfum

In 2016, Jean-Paul Gaultier decided to offer a new olfactory experience born from this perfumed legend. The new Jean-Paul Gaultier woman reveals herself in the new Classique Essence de Parfum, a juice with jasmine-rich, vaporous opulence for an even more explosive rendering than before.

The renewal of Jean-Paul Gaultier

If Classique quickly established itself as a symbol of the entire Jean-Paul Gaultier perfumery line, it is also because it was the house's first fragrance. It was launched in 1993 and has since dressed women's bodies in a floral, powdery character. Nevertheless, many other fragrances have since been created within the house. However, since January 2016, Jean-Paul Gaultier fragrances have been acquired by Puig. This international group, a genuine luxury giant, decided to refocus on the brand's fundamentals. This is why Classique Essence de Parfum appears as a new vision of one of them. The Jean-Paul Gaultier line decided to bring back into the spotlight its signature pair, Classique for women and Le Male for men. These have been reinterpreted here with greater modernity, offering an unprecedented visual and olfactory experience.

The new floral explosion of Classique Essence de Parfum

While the first version of Classique had been created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier, this time the house of Jean-Paul Gaultier called on Daphné Bugey to create Classique Essence de Parfum. This rather discreet native of Grenoble imagined a true condensation of femininity. The new vision of the Jean-Paul Gaultier woman seems even more charismatic than before. Its scent opens with a fresh and impertinent blend of tangerine, aldehydes and ginger. In this way, the Classique Essence de Parfum woman does not shy away from her seductive, aphrodisiac side. The fragrance then continues with a heart resembling an enormous bouquet of white flowers. It is filled with sambac jasmine and orange blossom for a particularly sun-kissed result. Finally, its base becomes darker. It is filled with woody notes, cashmere wood and benzoin. For added lightness and gourmand character, a whipped cream accord has also been added to this composition, along with a syrupy vanilla. Likewise, the Classique Essence de Parfum bottle has also been reinterpreted. It retains the bust shape of the Classique woman of before. It simply has sharper edges, along with a less generous bust but fuller hips. Moreover, its juice reveals itself warmer than before, echoing its new copper-toned spray bottle. The famous tin-can packaging of Jean-Paul Gaultier, however, has not disappeared.
