Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal: the whole line, from 2017 to Scandal Extase

The original, still sold in 30, 50 and 80 ml. Blood orange opens it, gardenia and honey hold its heart, patchouli carries its base. It is the perfume the whole line stems from.

The line’s first edition, designed for the night. The house pairs Scandal’s honey with a heady tuberose, sandalwood and tonka bean; Madame la Ministre remains its heroine.

The line’s first Eau de Toilette. A juicy pear and a luminous jasmine brighten the honey of the original, in a bottle that keeps its codes under a shinier silhouette.

A grand floral, in the house’s words, and the first Scandal whose declared notes do not name honey: orange blossom on top, tuberose and jasmine at the heart, milky notes in the base. The faceted glass takes a deeper pink.

Launched in June 2022 alongside its men’s counterpart. The house makes it a floral amber, where jasmine meets salted caramel and vanilla; the line’s legs turn lacquered red.

The first Scandal in Parfum concentration, launched in early 2024 with Scandal Pour Homme Absolu. The house describes it as an amber chypre in which black fig, tuberose and sandalwood share the composition, in a golden bottle.

Released on March 31, 2025, together with Scandal Pour Homme Intense. The house presents it as a spicy floral amber built on a vanilla absolute, and credits Daphné Bugey, Fabrice Pellegrin and Nicolas Bonneville. Its ridged bottle is purple.

Announced in January 2026, in Parfum concentration. The house describes it as a fruity amber chypre: blackberry on top, iris at the heart, patchouli in the base. The bottle, sheathed in pink velvet, shifts to a silver gradient.

Signed by Quentin Bisch, Nathalie Gracia-Cetto and Christophe Raynaud. The house files it among the amber woods and builds everything on a caramel, backed by tonka bean, clary sage and vetiver. Its bottle is refillable.

The counterpart of Scandal Le Parfum, launched at the same time. A woody amber, says the house, in black lacquered glass under the golden crown, refillable, in 50, 100 and 150 ml.

A woody gourmand, according to the house, where a melting chestnut meets mirabelle plum and sandalwood. The bottle, entirely golden, keeps the line’s crown. It accompanies Scandal Absolu, also in Parfum concentration.

Released on March 31, 2025, with Scandal Intense. Quentin Bisch, Christophe Raynaud and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto signed it, and the house files it among the aromatic leathery woods. The black bottle is ridged, under the golden crown.

The men’s counterpart of Scandal Elixir, in Parfum concentration. The house describes it as a fruity woody amber: black cherry on top, patchouli at the heart, tonka bean in the base.

The women’s half of the pair, sometimes called Scandal Pour Femme Extase in the announcement. None of its materials has been published yet.
