Jean Paul Gaultier launched Scandal Absolu in 2024 with a masculine counterpart, Scandal Pour Homme Absolu. The house stages a couple of the Parisian night: she, provocative, bare legs to the point of daring; he, free to the point of excess and crowned with mystery.

The house speaks of a highly concentrated fragrance, signed by Daphné Bugey, Fabrice Pellegrin and Ane Ayo. In April 2024, ELLE Belgique presented it as a tribute to bold, sensual femininity; the intense parfum is sold in 50 and 80 ml bottles.

Scandal Absolu joins the line opened in 2017 by Scandal, in which the house also launched Scandal by Night in 2018, Scandal Le Parfum in 2022 and, in 2025, Scandal Intense.
