Scandal pour Homme Le Parfum

Jean Paul Gaultier launched Scandal pour Homme Le Parfum in June 2022, together with Scandal Le Parfum for women, according to Now Smell This, which first spotted them at Nocibé. It extends Scandal pour Homme, the 2021 eau de toilette, in an intense eau de parfum concentration.

The champion returns

The house takes up the line’s character, a boxer sure of his charm, and tells of his return to the ring to applause. It promises a fragrance even sexier and more intense than the eau de toilette, built to knock you out from the very first spray.

Three perfumers

The house credits the composition to Quentin Bisch, Nathalie Gracia-Cetto and Christophe Raynaud. The trio keeps the tonka bean of the 2021 eau de toilette, which the brand describes through clary sage, tonka bean and vetiver, and replaces the other two materials.

What the house says today

Jean Paul Gaultier still presents Le Parfum as a warm ambery woody scent, worn by an athlete who lifts the crowds. The house sells it in 50, 100 and 150 milliliters, in a refillable bottle, alongside the eau de toilette and more recent flankers.
