Scandal Extase appeared as an announcement on September 24, 2026, for women. No product page exists yet at Jean Paul Gaultier, and the major perfume retailers do not carry it: the announcement gives its target, its year, and a fruity, amber tone, nothing more.
The announcement also uses the name Scandal Pour Femme Extase, a label the house has never put on a feminine edition of the line. The title used here follows Jean Paul Gaultier’s practice, pending the official page that will settle the name.
The Scandal line
Scandal was born in 2017, in a bottle whose stopper depicts two legs raised toward the sky. Jean Paul Gaultier has since drawn from it Scandal Le Parfum, Scandal Absolu, Scandal Intense, and Scandal Elixir, the latter released in January 2026 and described by the house as a fruity amber chypre.
The recent feminine editions come in pairs with the Scandal Pour Homme line, born in 2021: Le Parfum, Absolu, Intense, and Elixir exist in both versions. Scandal Extase also appears as a duo, with Scandal Pour Homme Extase, announced on September 24.
What is still missing
Jean Paul Gaultier has published no notes, concentration, sizes, perfumer’s name, ingredient list, or campaign visual. It is also unknown whether Scandal Extase joins the permanent range or is a limited edition, and when it will arrive in France.
