Giorgio Armani launched Code Femme in the spring of 2006 as the feminine counterpart to Armani Code, the men’s fragrance first sold under the name Armani Black Code. The house made it the first of the Code pour Femme line and credits it with capturing the intimacy of a new romantic encounter.

A code of seduction

At its launch, Armani promised a woman’s mysterious code of seduction revealed, and presented the fragrance as sensual, almost fatal. Today the house intends it for a self-assured woman who likes to stand out.
