The new bottle of La Vie est Belle Edition Limitée
If La Vie est Belle is bound to enchant from the moment of its release, it is above all thanks to its bottle. Indeed, it takes up the codes of its predecessors while enhancing them with a more festive touch. Originally, the bottle of La Vie est Belle was created in 1949 by Armand Petitjean and Georges Delhomme. Together, they crafted a vessel symbolizing the aura of women, with an air reminiscent of radiant and dazzling femininity. They decided to name their creation Le sourire de cristal. Nevertheless, it did not immediately find a fitting scent to match. It was then placed in a cupboard and remained there for quite some time. Fortunately, Lancôme had the idea of bringing it back out of the archives in 2012, during the creation of the perfume La Vie est Belle. It was then slightly reinterpreted in a more contemporary aesthetic. La Vie est Belle Edition Limitée therefore offers the same generous, gently curved shape as its predecessor. It is enhanced with a rounded imprint forming a glass memory at its base. As before, the pink hue is still present. However, this time it appears on frosted glass and through an arrangement of silver glitter. The whole is resolutely festive. Finally, as an ultimate touch of refinement, Lancôme has kept its pearl-gray organza ribbon hand-tied around the neck.
Lancôme's emblematic fragrance
To create the perfume La Vie est Belle, Lancôme called upon three perfumers, namely Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. Together, they crafted a sensual, floral and gourmand juice. The new Edition Limitée of La Vie est Belle has kept this original character. Its novelty lies exclusively in its appearance. La Vie est Belle Edition Limitée reveals a balance that is both simple and contrasted. Iris sits at the center of its composition. It rests on a base of Indonesian patchouli. The feminine aura of this perfume, for its part, is brought by a floral blend dominated by absolutes of sambac jasmine and Tunisian orange blossom. This is also paired with more fruity tonalities. Furthermore, La Vie est Belle Edition Limitée contains pear and blackcurrant. The latter also gives it a more exuberant character. Finally, La Vie est Belle Edition Limitée closes with the iconic gourmand facet of this collection. This perfume contains praline, vanilla, tonka bean… A true delight full of innocence!
