From the outset, Boucheron designed watches, which earned it the nickname Jeweler of Time. Quatre is the name of a line of contemporary jewelry with unusual combinations. This line of jewelry is the expression of pure gold. Boucheron Quatre came into being in 2015. In keeping with this collection, Boucheron Quatre is a luminous and rare fragrance, the perfect olfactory rendering of the magnificent Quatre collection.

The Quatre collection

In 2004, continuing the Quatre jewelry line, Boucheron created a ring, also named Quatre. This ring has become the emblem of the Boucheron brand. It is made up of four rings, in gold, yellow gold, rose gold and white gold. Each one symbolizes an iconic Boucheron motif. The first is the double-tarred motif invented in 1889. The second represents the “clou de Paris” motif inspired by the cobblestones and streets of Paris. The third is set with diamonds designed to trap light with a “polished gold” effect. Finally, the last band is designed with a large bead motif. This Quatre ring quickly became the symbol of French goldsmithing throughout the world. Quatre helped propel the Boucheron brand onto the international stage.

The fruity floral notes of Boucheron Quatre

Boucheron therefore decided to give its fragrance the same name as its ring, Quatre. Through this name, the house of Boucheron wished to reaffirm its emblematic values, while also seeking to attract a younger clientele. Boucheron Quatre is aimed at confident, contemporary women who live in step with their times. Boucheron Quatre represents the perfect balance between modernity and heritage, between innovation and tradition. Boucheron Quatre opens with the sparkliest of notes, thanks to the green mandarin-bitter orange duo. This is accompanied by a fruity accord with apple, peach or redcurrant. The heart is filled with precious flowers such as jasmine and rose. The base, meanwhile, is more sensual and enveloping with the presence of white musks, cashmeran and cedarwood. All of this is contained in a bottle that resembles a Boucheron piece of jewelry. The bottle, round in shape, is displayed in solid glass, revealing through its transparency the luminous rosy color of its juice. The Quatre ring, of course, dominates the whole, serving as a cabochon for the ensemble.
