Donna Born in Roma Ruby is the feminine counterpart to Ruby, a 2026 edition signed by Valentino for Born in Roma, whose Uomo opens on raspberry. Its own composition is not known to date. It joins a Donna line founded in 2019 on jasmine and Bourbon vanilla; vanilla has remained in nearly all its editions.

The 2019 Donna
Born in Roma Donna was born in 2019, alongside its masculine counterpart. The house sees it as an amber modernized by an overdose of wood: a trilogy of jasmine at heart, a dark Bourbon vanilla in the base, an Italian bergamot for the brightness of the opening.
Its studded bottle echoes the house's Rockstud, with a contrast of black leather and vivid pink. At Valentino, the house states, pink is not only romantic: it aims to be bold, almost punk.
The Donna editions
The Donna has been released in color editions, often alongside the Uomo: Yellow Dream in 2021, Pink PP in 2023, Green Stravaganza in 2024, Rendez-vous Ivory in 2025, Purple Melancholia in 2026. Its name, which designates the ruby, places Ruby within this series.
Intense, in 2023, and Extradose, in 2025, offered the Donna in more concentrated forms, without departing from the vanilla that grounds the line.
