Donna Born in Roma Ruby

Donna Born in Roma Ruby is the women’s edition Valentino has set aside for the 2026 holidays for Born in Roma, paired with Uomo Born in Roma Ruby. It is a limited-edition Eau de Parfum in a red bottle; its US release is announced for mid-October 2026.

The 2019 Donna

Born in Roma Donna was born in 2019, at the same time as its masculine counterpart. The house sees it as an amber modernized by an overdose of woods: a trilogy of jasmine in the heart, a dark Bourbon vanilla in the base, an Italian bergamot for a bright opening.

Its studded bottle takes up the house’s Rockstud, with a contrast of black leather and vivid pink. At Valentino, the house says, pink is not merely romantic: it aims to be bold, almost punk.

The Rendez-Vous, a limited edition every year

In 2023, Valentino launched the Rendez-Vous, a yearly capsule of limited Born in Roma editions, sold for a limited time and in restricted quantities. The first paired Pink PP, for her, with Rockstud Noir, for him, in monochrome bottles in the house’s signature colors.

In 2025, Ivory, presented as the third edition, drew on New York’s Studio 54, with ivory bottles and gold details. Ruby revives the series for the 2026 holidays; according to the house, it brings a new red expression to the Born in Roma collection.

The other Donna editions

The Donna has also been released in color editions, Yellow Dream in 2021, Coral Fantasy in 2022, Green Stravaganza in 2024, Purple Melancholia in 2026, and in two more concentrated forms, Intense in 2023 and Extradose in 2025, without leaving the vanilla on which the line is built.
