Let us begin with the bottle of this perfume, a true piece of jewelry. Indeed, at its top, the Quatre en Rouge bottle features the brand's famous ring as its cap. This cap brings together four techniques used by the house that have made its reputation. The Double Godrons, invented in 1889, joins two gold rings, symbolizing the love between two people. The Clous de Paris, for its part, is inspired by Parisian paving stones, meticulously hand-carved by Boucheron's master jewelers. The Diamond, or rather diamonds in their pavé version, is a technique that captures light and traps it on the walls of this bottle. Finally, the Gros Grain crowns the whole in the most beautiful way, through an exceptional goldsmithing technique. One only needs to twist this ring to reveal the spray nozzle. Sparkling atop the structure, this golden cap matches the name of the perfume, inscribed in capital letters on the front of the bottle. The rest of the ensemble is entirely tinted red. One could almost believe it to be an enormous ruby. Quatre en Rouge immediately gives off a sense of elegance and luxury. The whole is presented in a box embossed with the Clou de Paris pattern, also dressed in passionate red. But what about its scent? With such a design, Quatre en Rouge had to live up to its ambitions. For the occasion, it was created by a duo of world-renowned perfumers. Created by Mylène Aleran and Michel Almairac, Quatre en Rouge relies on gourmand character and calls upon childhood memories. It evokes the scent of a candy apple. This reveals itself in the heart, showing itself in turn as sweet, smooth and crisp. It is also brightened by other, more luminous essences of bergamot and mandarin. Pear, juicier, brings a greener, crisper facet to the whole. Marshmallow, for its part, enriches its sweet aspect in the base, while blackcurrant provides a tangier note. Finally, Quatre en Rouge ends with a caress of musk and patchouli.
