Boucheron launched Quatre en Rose in 2018, three years after Quatre, which the house presents as the olfactory interpretation of its ring of the same name. The new eau de parfum was entrusted to Quentin Bisch, who signed a fruity floral oriental centered on the rose.

The house places Quatre en Rose in the morning. After the nocturnal version embodied by Quatre Absolue de Nuit, it describes a woman waking up in a Paris bathed in pink light, and speaks of an ode to lightness, voluptuousness and daring.

Now Smell This, announcing its release in March 2018, saw it as a more casual take on Quatre, designed for daytime. The house, by contrast, stresses an original creation with no lineage to the original Quatre eau de parfum, carried by davana, rose absolute and vetiver.
