Paradoxe Virtual Flower

Paradoxe Virtual Flower, Eau de Parfum by Prada released in 2024, extends the Paradoxe line around a jasmine accord designed by Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Antoine Maisondieu with the help of artificial intelligence. Bergamot from Italy in the top notes, jasmine and neroli at the center, musk and ambrette in the base: a clear musky floral, presented in the triangle bottle laid on its side, tinted pale pink.

Where to buy

Paradoxe Virtual Flower is a flanker of the Prada Paradoxe line, released in 2024 according to the house and Wikiparfum. Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Antoine Maisondieu sign it, as they did the original Eau de Parfum: the house names this trio in its launch text, and Wikiparfum repeats it.

The Paradoxe line originally had Emma Watson as its face, who also directed the campaign film, the house recalls. The collection now brings together the original Eau de Parfum, Intense, Virtual Flower, Sweet Chemistry and Radical Essence.

The house presents this flanker as a musky floral composition centered on jasmine, whose accord, it states, was developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence, a singularity that Prada claims as a compositional argument and as a response to Miuccia Prada's wish for a flower that does not exist in nature.

Virtual Flower, with Emma Watson

Emma Watson photographed by Harley Weir facing a flower, and shots by Johann Besse reworked using artificial intelligence.

Emma Watson is the face of the Virtual Flower campaign, photographed by Harley Weir in an image playing on her lowered gaze facing a blooming flower, which Fashion Gone Rogue reads as a duality built into the framing. The house recalls that Emma Watson was the first face of the Paradoxe line and that she had directed the film for the original campaign herself.

For a separate social media campaign, bringing together several Prada fragrances including Paradoxe, the house enlisted still-life photographer Johann Besse, whose shots were reworked using an artificial intelligence-based image generator, according to Cosmetics Business.
