L’Interdit Eau de Toilette appeared in 2019 as a lighter version of the 2018 Eau de Parfum, and Givenchy reinvented it in 2022. The house describes a bouquet of white flowers brightened by orange, bergamot and mandarin, set against a base of vetiver, patchouli, cistus flower, musk and sandalwood.

The white bouquet of the line brings together tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom, rendered as essence, concrete, absolute and pure extract. Givenchy specifies their origins: orange blossom from Tunisia, tuberose and jasmine from India.
The base, which the house calls dark, wraps vetiver and patchouli in the leathery notes of cistus flower, musk and a creamy sandalwood. Givenchy sums up the Eau de Toilette as a duality, radiant through its citrus and flowers, sensual through this base.
