Idôle Power joins Lancôme's Idôle collection, which already includes Idôle Eau de Toilette, Idôle Eau de Parfum and Idôle Now, each designed for a different occasion according to the house. The house presents this new addition as the collection's first floral woody fragrance, released at the end of December 2024.

CB News places the rollout of the campaign in January 2025. The house credits three perfumers, Shyamala Maisondieu, Nadège Le Garlantezec and Adriana Medina-Baez, the first two having already worked on the previous Idôle installments.

Lancôme builds the launch narrative around the reinvention of Damascena rose, presented as the heart of the Idôle collection since its origin. The brand describes the capture of the rose's volatile molecules to reveal a fresh, petaled facet, paired with a touch of sandalwood described as soft and creamy.

The launch is accompanied by a campaign entrusted to the agency Publicis Luxe and carried by singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo, the house's global ambassador, announced in that role in November 2024, ahead of the rollout of the Idôle Power film.
