Rosa Sublime

Rosa Sublime is launched in 2025 by Gucci within the The Alchemist’s Garden collection, as part of the quartet reinterpreting the stages of ancient alchemy. Signed by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui, this unisex eau de parfum belongs to the musky spicy floral family and presents itself as a celebration of Damask rose in all its opulence, tempered by the excitement of a saffron accord.

The composition is built around two notes announced by the house: a Damask rose superessence, which the house claims is obtained through steam distillation preserving the most delicate aromatic facets of the flower, and a spicy saffron accord. The house describes the spirit of the composition as inspired by the movement of a fan, evoking the balance between floral opulence and spicy vivacity.

In the 2025 quartet of The Alchemist’s Garden, Rosa Sublime represents the most classically floral interpretation, carried by the richness of Damask rose, yet energized by the presence of saffron.
