Hot Couture
Hot Couture elevates women like a haute couture dress. The house of Givenchy was founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy. Casual chic, romantic, aristocratic, the Givenchy style is timeless and has adapted to different eras

Where to buy
Elizabeth Taylor, Grace of Monaco, Françoise Sagan as well as numerous stars wore Givenchy creations. The brand's first perfume in 1957 was dedicated to Audrey Hepburn, whose meeting with Hubert proved decisive and gave rise to an extraordinary friendship. In 2000, at the dawn of the twenty-first century, Givenchy presents Hot Couture, a sensual floral, worn like a haute couture dress.
The world of hot couture according to Givenchy
Here, the house of Givenchy takes us directly into its private salons on Avenue George V… Between fabrics, models, and couturiers, everything blends together and the atmosphere feels almost unreal, and one can imagine all the inspiration that emerges from it. With Hot Couture, Givenchy wanted to transport us a little into its world, but above all to connect haute couture dresses and the perfume, whose creations resemble one another. Hot Couture was designed to elevate women, their bodies, as much as a Givenchy dress can. The Hot Couture woman is elegant, yet refined. If she seems unattainable, she is revealed to be a touch bold. In fact, she exudes a very particular charm, mirroring her Hot Couture fragrance, and adapts perfectly to a dress by the great couturier.
The original composition of Hot Couture
It was the talented perfumer Jacques Cavalier who was in charge of creating this composition. He envisioned a haute couture dress, a silk fabric that hugs the woman's body while dressing her in genuine softness… Hot Couture opens with notes of raspberry, vivid and sweet, crafted in a very modern way. In the heart notes, magnolia blossoms, joined by the spicy note of black pepper as well as by vetiver, a rare ingredient in feminine perfumery. The base turns soft with amber and sandalwood, which also lend an overwhelming sensuality. The bottle displays a beautiful, slender silhouette. Like a mirror or a prism, its glass attracts and reflects beautiful light, letting its fleshy pink juice show through. Here, perfume and fashion blend harmoniously to ultimately become one.
Once again, the house of Givenchy offers an ode to femininity. An extraordinary perfume, with a composition that is nothing short of original. Hot Couture takes us into the world of fashion, of Givenchy creations. Here, the creation of a dress and that of a perfume come together to elevate the woman's body. An exceptional composition deserves an exceptional bottle, and this one perfectly reflects the light of the precious nectar.
