Where to buy
This bottle already seems to have won the hearts of many free and rebellious young women. It is a fragrance based on vanilla and chestnut, a sort of sensual, rock 'n' roll gourmand treat in the image of today's urban woman.
The rock 'n' roll Parisienne of Zadig & Voltaire
Unquestionably, the new This is Her is designed for a slightly rebellious woman, fully embracing her allure and displaying a minimalist chic. This is Her is a perfume worn with audacity and determination. It is an ode to seduction and irreverence. As such, it carries a sultry, gourmand sillage that does not go unnoticed. This mirrors the face of the campaign chosen by Zadig & Voltaire, the alluring Joséphine Le Tutor. She is known for her charismatic personality and irresistible charm. Absolutely captivating in the advertisement for This is Her, she embodies the Zadig & Voltaire attitude to perfection. She manages to be rebellious without lacking class, and it is undoubtedly partly thanks to her lovely face that This is Her is already generating so much buzz. Likewise, its arrival was announced during a Parisian evening at the heart of the Hôtel de Lieu. Zadig & Voltaire had invited the cream of fashion and show business. It was a sort of glamorous and highly entertaining evening featuring, among other things, a tattoo booth, a karaoke session as well as an electro house performance by French DJ The Avener. Once again, Zadig & Voltaire displayed a perfectly coherent communication strategy, blending high society with provocation to perfection, themes forever associated with This is Her.
The impertinent gourmand character of This is Her
To create this perfume, the house Zadig & Voltaire called upon a duo of perfumers made up of Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac. Both chose to build the scent of this perfume around jasmine. It is one of the most famous flowers in perfumery, known for its radiant, sun-kissed quality and opulent richness. It is also paired with pink pepper, a more impertinent and spicy ingredient revealing the sultry side of the Zadig & Voltaire woman. Nevertheless, This is Her does conceal a tender heart, and its character is softened by the gourmand presence of chestnut. Likewise, vanilla and sandalwood greatly contribute to amplifying this effect. All of this is held within a very minimalist bottle. It forms a thick, white rectangular block. All of its edges are sharp and clean, while its right side appears as though carved straight from rock. It is thus ideally designed to fit perfectly with its masculine counterpart. As such, these two perfumes form an inseparable and fully complementary duo.

The advertising
This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire is a perfume that was born in 2016, alongside its masculine counterpart, This is Him. From then on, the two form an inseparable pair. This is evident right from the sight of their bottles. Indeed, their two bottles are perfectly complementary and fit into one another. White for the woman, it becomes black for the man. As such, This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire is presented alongside its masculine counterpart in its advertisement. Here is a breakdown of this television campaign.
The considerable resources deployed for Zadig & Voltaire's first advertisement
The advertisement for This is Her and This is Him is very important for the brand Zadig & Voltaire. Indeed, until this one, none of its fragrances had ever been featured in a television commercial. It is therefore a major first, which Zadig & Voltaire wanted to celebrate brilliantly, by calling upon several renowned artists. To produce this television campaign, the brand wanted to make a strong impression! As such, as face of the campaign, the woman who embodies This is Her is none other than Joséphine Le Tutor, a famous French model. She appears here alongside male top model Sam Lammar. The two form a couple who are complete opposites yet so complementary, mirroring the fragrances they represent. They are featured here in a film directed by Emmanuel Giraud, enhanced by the soundtrack You Belong by Tristan Casara, alias The Avener, a French DJ in high demand. On the photography side, the campaign for This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire owes its existence to photographer Fred Meylan.
The nonchalant Parisian style of This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire
In this advertisement, shot entirely in black and white, the aim was to embody a Parisian style that is both nonchalant and elegant, emblematic of the brand Zadig & Voltaire. Here, this campaign presents two lovers who attract and clash with one another. Like This is Her and This is Him, they are highly contradictory and made to never exist one without the other. Here, they play cat and mouse in a film rich with emotion. The tension between the two actors is palpable. It all begins with a wild party, followed by an image of two bottles resting on white sheets. No one truly knows what happened that night. Nevertheless, the brand's two faces of the campaign appear particularly close. Joséphine Le Tutor appears dressed in white, while her counterpart is entirely covered in black. A few fragments of memories appear: a powerful car, a boozy party, a more intimate guitar session, romantic encounters... All these images appear as flashbacks, immersing us in the intimacy of the two characters. The advertising campaign for This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire ends with the sight of the two bottles against a white background, followed by the hashtag #THISISZADIG, so that it would be shared as widely as possible on social media... Undeniably, Zadig & Voltaire is speaking to the new generation!
