This house clearly plays in the register of elegance and made its grand return to perfumery in 2008, presenting an eponymous fragrance. Today, Chloé has decided to celebrate the anniversary of its star fragrance. For its 10th anniversary, this Parisian house of creation has chosen to offer a new fragrance named Chloé Absolu de Parfum. More than ever, the emphasis is on refinement. While Chloé Absolu de Parfum draws inspiration from its predecessor, it is enhanced with more noble raw materials and a deeper sillage.

The new refined breath of Chloé Absolu de Parfum

Chloé Absolu de Parfum is far from being the first reinterpretation of the Chloé Signature fragrance. Indeed, this fragrance has in turn become an Eau de Toilette, an Eau de Parfum Intense or Chloé Fleur de Parfum. All of these creations have in common that they were composed by perfumer Michel Almairac. Thus, Chloé Absolu de Parfum is no exception to the rule. This fragrance is by far the most prestigious in the entire collection. Just like Chloé Signature, this fragrance uses Damask rose. After all, what better ingredient than this one to speak to us of femininity and romanticism? Grown in Turkey and Bulgaria, it is characterized by its floral and fresh scent, lemony and fruity. To amplify its scent and the refinement of this fragrance, Michel Almairac nevertheless decided to pair it with may rose, a variety of flower grown in Grasse, the region of origin of this creator. Exclusively reserved for luxury perfumery, this species has a warmer scent, waxy, honeyed and spicy. Moreover, as if to preserve its smooth and warm character, Chloé Absolu de Parfum also contains vanilla. Its exoticism is ultimately carried through by the presence of patchouli. Thus, this fragrance concludes with a deeper, more mysterious and woody sillage.

The grand return of the Chloé Signature bottle for L'Absolu de Parfum

The connection of Chloé Absolu de Parfum to the great olfactory family of Chloé is evident at first sight of its bottle. Indeed, Chloé Absolu de Parfum uses the same bottle as its predecessor. As a bit of history, this bottle was designed by designer Patrick Veillet. The particular polishing of its glass is a nod to the pattern that adorns the sleeve of a famous Chloé blouse. The silhouette of this bottle is particularly geometric. It forms a thick glass cube topped with an oval cap. This rounded silhouette softens the rigorous lines of the rest of the bottle. A silver metal plate, crafted by hand, also adorns the top of this bottle. This time, the transparency of its glass lets us glimpse a fragrance that is more golden and ambery than before, as if patinated by time. The effect is all the more luxurious. Finally, a beige grosgrain ribbon woven with gold thread is fastened to the neck of this bottle.
