Rose Tangerine

Chloé Rose Tangerine, a new Eau de Toilette with a floral and fruity scent For a very long time, the house of Chloé had faded from the olfactory scene. However, it decided to return to perfumery in 2008, with the creation of a very personal fragrance, the perfect embodiment of the Chloé feminine style.

The Chloé fragrance was a symbol of tender and romantic femininity, embodying a naturally charming woman in love with independence. Celebrating rose, this romantic juice was particularly well received by women. This allowed it to reinvent itself year after year, becoming in turn an Eau de Toilette, an Eau de Parfum Intense, an Absolu de Parfum, or a Fleur de Parfum. Once again, in 2020, history repeats itself. Chloé gives birth to Chloé Signature Rose Tangerine, a fresh and lively rose enhanced with fruit.

Chloé Signature Rose Tangerine, a true delight, highly refreshing

To create this fragrance, the house of Chloé placed its trust in two renowned perfumers: Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac. They faced the difficult task of preserving the DNA of the original 2008 Chloé while giving it new energy. To do this, they preserved its emblematic rose and paired it with countless fruits. Here, everything begins with a tangy, fresh mandarin, followed by a brighter, sparkling blackcurrant. Green notes add further brilliance to this elegant fragrance. Then, little by little, Chloé Signature Rose Tangerine warms in its base. This base becomes more amber and woody. Cedar and white amber leave behind an unforgettable, lasting sillage that never becomes heady.

Chloé's delicate bottle

Clearly displaying its belonging to the great Chloé family, Chloé Signature Rose Tangerine comes in the brand's timeless bottle. It was created in 2008 by designer Patrick Veillet. Taking the shape of a glass cube, this bottle is decorated with a light pleating on its walls. As a bit of background, this is inspired by the pattern traditionally found on the sleeves of Chloé blouses. However, the rigor of the cube contrasts with the softness of an oval cap. A small ribbon is also tied around its neck. For this olfactory variation, it takes on an orange hue, perfectly matched to the fragrance held within this glass case. A small silver plaque also decorates the top of this bottle, finely engraved with the Chloé name.

Lucy Boynton, new ambassador of Chloé Signature Rose Tangerine

On screen, note that Chloé Signature Rose Tangerine is embodied by a new face of the campaign. To succeed Haley Bennett, Clémence Poésy, and Chloé Sevigny, the Chloé brand called upon Lucy Boynton. A British actress, this 26-year-old woman was literally propelled into the spotlight by playing the role of Mary Austin in the blockbuster Bohemian Rhapsody, a film released in theaters retracing the incredible journey of the rock band Queen. Here, her natural charm and spontaneous elegance perfectly match the image of this fragrance. Moreover, Lucy Boynton says she is delighted to collaborate with this committed brand, which does not hesitate to champion values alongside Unicef.

The advertising

In 2008, the house of Chloé gave birth to a feminine fragrance bearing its name. A symbol of renewal and poetry, this juice possesses an innate sense of chic. Floral and green, it is built around rose, honoring this emblematic flower of women's perfumery in an airy and sensual breath. In 2020, history renews itself and this juice transforms into a new feminine fragrance named Chloé Rose Tangerine. Naturally, to accompany this olfactory release, Chloé imagined an original television campaign. This time, its face of the campaign is none other than the talented American actress Lucy Boynton.

Lucy Boynton, radiant and feminine image of the Chloé style

Lucy Boynton is not the first ambassador to lend her image to the Chloé fragrance. Indeed, before her, the brand had already called upon other talents such as Clémence Poésy, Haley Bennett, or Chloé Sevigny. However, according to Simona Cattaneo, President of Luxury Brands at Coty, turning to her felt like an obvious choice: Lucy Boynton was an obvious and perfect choice for Chloé. She is very feminine, sun-kissed and elegant. She is a true natural beauty. For us, Lucy embodies the values inherent to Chloé, blending joyful self-confidence and freedom of spirit. She is Chloé. Moreover, it must be acknowledged that the young woman is a rising star of Hollywood cinema, whose simplicity and talent have not failed to draw attention. As a reminder, Lucy Boynton first appeared in 2017 in Kenneth Branagh's film Murder on the Orient Express alongside Johnny Depp and Dame Judi Dench, before starring in 2018 in Bohemian Rhapsody, a film with multiple Golden Globes, alongside Rami Malek. Riccardo Bellini, Chief Executive Officer of Chloé, further echoes Simona Cattaneo's statement by affirming that Lucy Boynton's luminous spirit and natural beauty radiate through this Chloé collaboration. Her passion, her joy, her determination, as well as her support for the Girls Forward initiative (born from a collaboration between the house of Chloé and UNICEF) express lasting values shared by the house.

Bringing the feminine fragrance Chloé Rose Tangerine to the screen

In this advertisement, the Chloé Rose Tangerine fragrance speaks to us of spontaneity, authenticity, and poetry. The entire scene is filmed in black and white, showing Lucy Boynton as if laid bare, in complete simplicity. The young woman laughs, has fun, gazes at the sea and the horizon, or climbs trees. She turns her daily life into an endless source of happiness, drawing all her strength from it. To create this clip, Chloé called upon director and musician Jonathan Alric, to whom we also owe the soundtrack of this advertisement. Added to this are photographs taken by photographer Karim Sadli. The images revealed are as soft as they are powerful. Lucy Boynton pierces through us with her magnetic gaze. Once again, the beautiful actress promises to win everyone over…
