When a fashion house or luxury goods maker begins to offer perfumes, the pitfalls can be numerous: fragrances too far removed from the brand’s values, fragrances of poor quality, or conversely pale copies of the major trends in perfumery. For Montblanc, all these obstacles were successfully overcome because, to devotees of its luxury pens, the brand, which has been a perfume house since 2001, managed to offer an original and luxurious fragrance: Présence.

The bottle of Présence d’une Femme was designed by Franzrudolph Lehnert. Just like the fragrant composition of Présence d’une Femme, the bottle is both a masterpiece of modernity and a complex and sophisticated work of art. The pure, transparent glass sphere meets a solid and opulent golden base, as if to highlight the contrast between feminine softness and strength.

Présence d’une Femme opens on a tonic and tangy note of mandarin blended with the exotic and original freshness of crisp pineapple leaves. Pepper surprises with its bite on these bursting top notes. At the heart, the sumptuous floral elegance of cyclamen and orchid highlights the beauty of the “flower-woman.” Sandalwood, rosewood and patchouli then form a sensual and deep sillage, further enhanced with a touch of gourmand vanilla.
