Where to buy

The official announcement of this release has just been made and Lalique has thus unveiled the visual, the name and the formula of a brand new trio of compositions. This brings together three fragrances in a collection named Mon Premier Cristal. Each of them aims to pay tribute to a crystal-working method. Tendre is by far the most romantic perfume of this assortment. It is intended as the messenger of the satin crystal technique.

Lalique and crystal craftsmanship

If the house of Lalique decided to pay tribute to crystal, it is simply because it is one of its favorite materials. Indeed, originally, Lalique was not specialized in perfumery. This company was founded in 1888 by René Lalique, master glassmaker and great jewelry designer. Specialized in decorative objects, interior architecture and the creation of art pieces, the Lalique brand did not take long to make a name for itself around the world. It first distinguished itself in an Art Nouveau style before shifting toward the greater minimalism characteristic of the Art Deco movement. It was only later that Lalique partnered with François Coty to create a new style of bottle. Together, they revolutionized the world of perfumery, making it accessible to the widest audience while enhancing it with magnificent presentations. It is therefore to pay tribute to this extraordinary history that Lalique's Tendre was created. The house of Lalique's exceptional glasswork shines through on its bottle. It displays an elegant frieze on which numerous birds are sculpted. The whole is rendered in a powdery pink shade, a universal symbol of femininity.

Lalique's tender and timeless formula

Tendre is a perfume owed to perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur. This juice is both floral and oriental. Indeed, it conveys the image of a delicate woman who is nonetheless full of character and sensuality. Its scent opens with a juicy, airy pairing of pear and lily of the valley. Then, the star of feminine perfumery takes the stage. Rose enhances the femininity of the whole. It is worked through multiple facets. It reveals itself as romantic, wildly modern and slightly retro, all in turn. Indeed, its slightly vintage touch suits it perfectly. This comes from its rice powder scent, an ingredient reminiscent of our grandmothers' makeup or the scent of beauty boudoirs of days gone by. This is paired with the powdery character of iris and violet, two noble flowers of feminine perfumery. Lily preserves the poetry of the whole while lending it a somewhat spicy character. Finally, Tendre closes with a more syrupy and warm base. This pairs vanilla and white musk, plunging into an utterly intoxicating carnal whirl.
