Zadig & Voltaire launched This is Her! in September 2016 alongside its masculine counterpart, This is Him!. Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac composed a woody gourmand floral: sambac jasmine and pink pepper, a chestnut and vanilla accord, and a sandalwood base, the house signature. Michelle Wong mostly finds a creamy, sweet wood, quiet but long-lasting.

A white-lacquered glass block with a broken side, the counterpart of the black This is Him! bottle, in 30, 50 and 100 ml, with a 150 ml refill.

The This is Her! bottle is a rectangular glass block lacquered in white, with one side that looks broken like a raw stone. This is Him! repeats the same shape in black: the two bottles echo each other, like the two fragrances of the pair.

The house says it is inspired by contemporary art, with its raw edges, monochrome shades and elegant lines, to convey the label’s rock spirit and nonchalant chic. The name is written in black capitals.

Three sizes exist: 30, 50 and 100 ml. A 150 ml refill lets you fill the bottle again: the house puts the reduction at 47% for the water footprint and 55% for the carbon footprint, compared with four 50 ml bottles.
