Where to buy
The latter have always expressed a wild desire to innovate and to surprise. So, when they decided to venture into perfumery, in 2005, they did not stray in the least from their line of conduct. That is how the feminine grenade Flowerbomb made its appearance!
The first juice by Viktor & Rolf
Flowerbomb appeared just 10 years after the launch of the house Viktor & Rolf. It is thus perceived as a kind of consecration duly celebrating a milestone anniversary. So, it absolutely had to reflect the image of the house Viktor & Rolf: surprising, refined and striking. When its creators presented it, they said: it is called Flowerbomb. This first perfume tells of our desire to astonish, to surprise, while forging bonds with women for whom dream and life face one another. A perfume is a gesture, a sensation. A perfume is the open door onto the marvelous… A matter of skin, of contact, of emotions. Magic in real time. In other words, with Flowerbomb, Viktor & Rolf firmly intended to touch women right at the heart. We imagined Flowerbomb as an ideal shaped to the measure of the heart, stated Viktor & Rolf. Thus, it is an invitation to dream and imagination. It brings together multiple opposites and intertwines them as if to make a bouquet of sensations explode. Flowerbomb is all at once: rigor and fantasy, truth and unreality, here and elsewhere, past and present, measure and excess.
The gourmand femininity of Flowerbomb
Flowerbomb is a perfume that surprises from the very sight of its bottle. It clearly presents itself as a weapon of mass seduction. Indeed, Viktor & Rolf chose to enclose its perfume in a sort of grenade waiting to be unpinned. It then releases its scent like a bomb of flowers. The whole remains nonetheless very elegant, set in a case with the brilliance of a diamond. The entire piece shines like a blazing prism. Flowerbomb is then topped with a rose gold cap inspired by a piece of jewelry, which only asks to be removed to reveal its scent. This was crafted by Carlos Benaïm, Dominique Ropion, Domitille Berthier and Olivier Polge. Together, they composed a floral, seductive and gourmand fragrance. It opens on a sparkling accord of bergamot and tea. Then, it is at its heart that the femininity of flowers reaches its full power and range. Flowerbomb reveals a generous bouquet combining sambac jasmine, orange blossom, orchid, centifolia rose and freesia. The whole is very textured, at once suave and carnal. Then, Flowerbomb gradually becomes warmer and more amber. It ends on a sillage of patchouli and a woody accord. The whole leaves behind a balsamic and almost gourmand breath.

The advertising
In 2005, Viktor & Rolf created a surprise by presenting a floral bomb named Flowerbomb. Both gourmand and sensual, Flowerbomb is one of the most daring fragrances. For the two creators of the house Viktor & Rolf, Flowerbomb perfectly highlights their ever more explosive personality and their taste for fashion that breaks away from convention. The house's first fragrance, Flowerbomb, appears as a weapon of mass seduction. As feminine as it is sensual, the Flowerbomb grenade was far from done making people talk.
Flowerbomb, a soft and explosive campaign
This is the first time that Viktor & Rolf have released a new advertising clip since the one from 2005, the date of the first advertisement. The Power of Flowers, as its name indicates, gave power to the generous flowers of Flowerbomb. On this subject, the two partners state that Flowerbomb is the power to transform anything into something positive and beautiful. And these explosions of flowers are the ultimate. While there had been no face of the campaign to represent the olfactory bomb before, this new clip features Andreea Diaconu. When asked why they chose a Romanian model as the face of the campaign, they state that they imagined an advertisement that would be an evolution of the idea of Flowerbomb: a mysterious woman, somewhat surreal, strong and vibrant, who has the power to transform anything into something positive and beautiful… She is dogmatic, but also soft…
Andreea Diaconu, at the forefront of the new Flowerbomb advertising clip
Born in 1991 in Romania, Andreea Diaconu joined the very select family of female models prized by the fashion world. Her first show dates back to the 2007 fashion week and since then, she has continued to draw attention. Today, she poses for the greatest names, Chanel, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein… Regarded as a strong and naturally beautiful woman, Andreea Diaconu states that she follows a philosophy of life taught to her by her mother, do as you like. She states that she practices a quarter of an hour of meditation a day, and does not want to be addicted to her phone. As for the Flowerbomb advertisement, the Romanian top model appears entirely nude, simply wrapped in a magnificent black ribbon, signed Viktor & Rolf. She holds the bottle, shaped like a grenade, in her hand, and her hair is adorned with endless flowers. With this new face of the campaign and this new campaign, the house Viktor & Rolf has managed to convey a renewed sense of spirit and excitement…
A face of the campaign worthy of the floral explosion… While Flowerbomb shakes up the codes of fashion, it remains nonetheless an ultra-feminine and sensual fragrance, beautifully represented by Andreea Diaconu.
