Flowerbomb Extreme Eau de Parfum Intense
Flowerbomb Extreme: the identity card of the explosive bouquet, 2025 version. Genesis and creative vision. The floral explosion pushed to its paroxysm. Twenty years after the launch of the legendary Flowerbomb, Viktor & Rolf rewrite their floral manifesto with Flowerbomb Extreme Eau de Parfum, revealed in early 2025. Conceived as the ultimate detonation of the flower bomb, this new interpretation intensifies the gourmand sensuality by injecting a raspberry-tea accord that blows up the original composition. The Dutch designers entrusted the score to the historic quartet Domitille Michalon-Bertier, Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaïm and Dominique Ropion, already the authors of the original juice, in order to preserve the DNA while elevating the signature toward a creamy-oriental voluptuousness.

A “More is More” storytelling
On social media, the house presents Extreme as a flower that no longer merely opens: it explodes and sets the night on fire. The campaign, shot by Inez & Vinoodh, features a bouquet saturated with pink glitter that bursts in slow motion, releasing virtual petals as the grenade-shaped bottle turns on itself.

Bottle: the faceted grenade dons metallic raspberry
An icon since 2005, the polygonal bottle shaped like a jewel-grenade is dressed in a metallic magenta lacquer that captures light like a fuchsia crystal. The chrome-silver pin-shaped cap keeps the Viktor&Rolf logo stamped in black wax, symbol of a seal ready to release the floral detonation. Subtle micro-glitter is included in the lacquer to reflect the dazzling promise of the juice.
Positioning and target audience
More intense and creamier than the original EDP, Flowerbomb Extreme targets night owls aged 25 to 40 who are looking for a long-lasting sillage — announced at 10 hours on a blotter — and a projection able to dominate club nights or winter dinners. The raspberry-vanilla facet also makes it irresistible to fans of modern gourmands, while the deep patchouli maintains the house's charismatic couture DNA.

The advertising
Advertising: Flowerbomb Extreme sets the night ablaze under a rain of magenta flowers
A manifesto film between glamour and surrealism
Directed by Inez & Vinoodh, an iconic fashion duo
To celebrate the Extreme version of their floral bomb, Viktor&Rolf entrusted the camera to the duo Inez & Vinoodh. The short film More is More opens on a twilight New York alley. A female silhouette in a magenta lamé dress advances in slow motion; each step triggers an invisible gust that rains down glittering petals. In the first close-up, the petals turn into sparkling confetti, a direct nod to the lacquered bottle. The soundtrack, a dark-disco remix, pulses the tempo between heartbeats and a distorted guitar riff, heightening the tension before the final explosion.
The key scene: the floral detonation
The film's high point: the character, played by the Franco-British actress Lily Collins, presses the pin of the grenade-shaped bottle. The shot switches to macro: the sprayer releases a magenta cloud that transforms into an actual 3D flower, suspended in the air before fragmenting into thousands of sparks. This floral bullet time embodies the promise of the juice: an olfactory explosion that slows time to better overwhelm the senses.
Print visuals: the flower that swirls in the dark
Fruity-floral color palette
The posters draw on three dominant tones: abyssal black for the background, metallic magenta for the bottle, and fuchsia pink flashes for the petals. At the center of the visual, the polygonal bottle shines like a raw diamond while a crown of stylized flowers spirals around it. The tagline More is More stands out in silver capitals, echoing the chrome pin.
Landscape and portrait formats
In horizontal format, the campaign relies on symmetry: the bottle on the left, a neon portrait of Lily Collins on the right, separated by a plume of digital flowers that connects the two worlds. In vertical format, the bottle occupies the central axis, reinforcing the idea of a precious totem ready to be triggered.
Media plan: 360 degrees and social-first
#MoreIsMoreChallenge on TikTok
The digital launch relies on an AR filter: the user blows toward the screen, triggering a virtual rain of magenta petals around their face. More than 150,000 UGC videos were produced in one week, generating an estimated organic reach of 200 million views. The challenge encouraged users to overlay an official sound, Extreme Drop, mixed exclusively for the occasion, to reinforce the campaign's sonic consistency.
3D screens and dynamic OOH
In Times Square as on the facade of Printemps Haussmann, an anamorphic 3D bottle appeared to burst out of the screen; in slow motion, the pin ejected, then a cloud of petals cascaded down onto passers-by. Motion sensors triggered the scene: the denser the pedestrian flow, the higher the frequency of the explosions, playing on live interaction.
Commercial impact and critical reception
Record engagement within 48 hours
The official Instagram Reel reached one million likes in two days, doubling the performance of the previous flanker Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid. Searches for Flowerbomb Extreme climbed on Google Trends as soon as the film was released, while the 10 ml travel size sold out on the house's online store.
Press and influence
Fashion magazines praise the balance between fruity gourmand character and oriental intensity, noting that the film perfectly captures the fragrance's sweet-dark duality. Fragrance influencers, for their part, welcome a campaign that makes one want to dance as much as to wear perfume.
