Domitille Bertier

If perfumery was for a very long time a field reserved for men, it seems to have followed the same movement as the emancipation of women. Thus, more and more women are taking on the role of perfumer. One of them is named Domitille Bertier and has already opened the way to a splendid career. Domitille Bertier's professional path Domitille Bertier is a discreet young woman who does not like to talk about her life and who far prefers to be known through her creations rather than through personal anecdotes. Nevertheless, it is known that she trained at ISIPCA. This is one of the most famous perfumery schools in the world. It is located in Versailles and has seen many of today's greatest perfumers pass through its halls.

What is more, alongside this training, Domitille Bertier received the best education within the company International Flavors & Fragrances, better known as IFF and today considered the third-largest leader worldwide in the flavor and fragrance industry for perfumery and food. Domitille Bertier joined IFF as an intern in 1994. She never left since. Since 2007, she has held the position of senior perfumer there, which also allows her to collaborate with the greatest creative houses as well as with other renowned perfumers.

Domitille Bertier's creations

Domitille Bertier already has a great many creations to her credit. While she very often works solo, she has also collaborated with other major names in perfumery on certain projects. Her first great success was created in association with Olivier Polge. It was the famous Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. Since that day, these two creators have taken to working together again, notably on Noa Perle or Liberté by Cacharel, Azzaro Visit For Women, Paris L’Eau Rose by Balenciaga, The Beat For Men by Burberry, Hot Water by Davidoff, and also Midnight In Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels. Likewise, Domitille Bertier has worked with Juliette Karagueuzoglou on children's fragrances as well as with Max Gavarry on Air de Cobochard by Grès.

Domitille Bertier is far from having written the whole of her career. Nevertheless, she already has a brilliant record and can boast of having collaborated with the greatest creative houses.
