Black Orchid Reserve extends the line opened by Black Orchid in 2006, in an extrait concentration sold in fifty and one hundred milliliter sizes. The house presents it as a deeper and darker dimension of its most recognizable fragrance.

What the house says

It speaks of a force of nature and of a study in contrast, where light and shadow end up merging. The vocabulary remains that of metamorphosis: the same identity, another density.

What it changes

An increased dosage of ylang ylang brings, in its words, a new luminosity to the fragrance. The rest of the copy rests on four materials, timut pepper, roasted tonka bean, black truffle and patchouli, to which ambery shades are added.

Its place in the line

This encyclopedia already carries the eau de parfum of 2006, the eau de toilette of 2016 and the parfum of 2020. The Reserve is the fourth concentration of the line, and the first to place two orchid accords at the two ends of its breakdown.
