Mon Paris Star Edition is a fragrance ideally designed to make stars appear in the eyes of one's beloved with a single breath. Moreover, since it appeared in February 2017, it is synonymous with a gesture of love and proves to be a perfect gift for Valentine's Day. At once subversive, powerful and sensual, Mon Paris Star Edition depicts the image of a liberated and wildly seductive Parisian woman. It follows a first opus created by perfumers Olivier Cresp, Dora Baghriche and Harry Fremont. As such, it is not diametrically opposed to it. Mon Paris Star Edition opens with an invigorating blend of red fruits and bergamot. The red fruits give it a tangy and sparkling facet. Bergamot, the fruit born of the cross between the lemon tree and the bitter orange tree, gives it more vibrancy in a citrus surge. Then, Mon Paris Star Edition takes on a more floral momentum. It draws its mystery from the Datura flower, a plant some call the “trumpet of death” while others prefer to name it the “angel's trumpet.” Here it is paired with the opulence of jasmine. Finally, Mon Paris Star Edition ends on a particularly bewitching contrast. It harmoniously combines the tender purity of white musks with the structured elegance of patchouli.

The revisiting of an iconic Yves Saint Laurent bottle

As for the bottle, Mon Paris Star Edition is of course inspired by its predecessor. However, its history goes back much further than that. In fact, the bottle of Mon Paris Star Edition traces its origins to the 1983 fragrance Paris. It was housed in a faceted glass globe, “like so much joy held by the city of lovers.” This was then reinterpreted in 2016 for the creation of the fragrance Mon Paris. This bottle has a look very similar to Mon Paris Star Edition. Both are housed in a bottle that perpetuates the legacy of the fragrance Paris. It still has a silhouette adorned with multiple facets. Its thick glass is synonymous with quality and refinement. It elegantly reflects a pink elixir contrasting with the black bow of this fragrance tied around its neck. It is precisely on this point that Mon Paris Star Edition sets itself apart from its predecessors. It is adorned with a black fabric decorated with silver stars. The whole thus takes on a more rock-inspired look for a particularly modern and unconventional result.
