A Kiss of Bliss

A Kiss of Bliss was launched in 2023 by Penhaligon’s as part of the Potions & Remedies collection, a line of five Eaux de Parfum with an apothecary inspiration paying tribute to the world of founder William Penhaligon. The house positions this creation under the motto “I feel good,” evoking the euphoria of sunny days and the intent to chase away dark thoughts through lightness and freshness.

The top pairs bergamot and green clover, forming a fresh, green opening. The heart develops a floral bouquet of rose, heliotrope and jasmine, at once sweet and slightly powdery. The base rests on musk, moss and patchouli, bringing an earthy, green depth. The house also states the presence of a matcha accord, a note not represented in the official pyramid, which it says contributes to the fresh, slightly bitter dimension of the composition.
