Where to buy

Yet, if there were to be only one fragrance to embody the image of a playful and sparkling young woman, it would probably be Nina, the brand's undisputed best-seller since its creation in 2006. Today, to celebrate the arrival of the 2019 end-of-year festivities, Nina Ricci has decided to present a new Collector edition. So, how about discovering the new Nina bottle, created in collaboration with illustrator Ana Strumpf.

The new customizable bottle of Nina Collector

For this fragrance, Nina Ricci has not transformed the scent of its composition. It is indeed a transformation of its packaging. For this, the house called on Ana Strumpf, a talented artist, born in Sao Paulo but who made her mark in New York. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, then of Parsons School in 2010, Ana Strumpf continues to attract attention. Her world is at once colorful, dense and richly patterned. Furthermore, the young woman is known for her transformations of the covers of some of the greatest fashion magazines, on which she likes to draw all sorts of new motifs. And what if you did exactly as she does, by customizing the bottle of your Nina fragrance? That is precisely what the house offers. This time, the Nina Collector box contains a whole array of adhesive patches designed by Ana Strumpf, which need only be stuck as desired onto the bottle, to create a unique bottle, in one's own image. Added to this is also a new golden cap, more sparkling than ever. Likewise, the top of the Nina Collector bottle is covered with a shower of gold glitter, enough to fill the eyes with stars.

The well-known scent of Nina Ricci's Nina fragrance

On the scent side, Nina Collector holds no real surprises, though the pleasure remains just as present upon discovering its gourmand breath. Nina Collector contains the usual notes of Nina, created by Jacques Cavallier and Olivier Cresp, in 2006. This fragrance is crafted like a candy apple, plunging us back with a single whiff into the nostalgia of childhood, while adding a strong dose of gourmand character. At first, its scent is dominated by a sharp, fruity burst of lemon, joined by a caipirinha accord. Nina's femininity then comes through in a heart of rose, peony and jasmine. Strawberry, apple and raspberry preserve its freshness while adding a tangy touch. Then, all the sweet roundness of this fragrance truly takes hold in its base. Nina ends with a blend of vanilla, praline and caramel.
