Where to buy

Today, its composition reinvents itself and gives rise to a more sophisticated essence, yet just as passionate. Mon Paris Intensément delivers the new chapter of a love story synonymous with freedom.

Mon Paris Intensément, a fragrant romance

Mon Paris Intensément evokes the most beautiful side of Paris, that of a city where anything is possible… What better place than the small cobbled streets, the banks of the Seine or the third floor of the Eiffel Tower to share a first passionate kiss? This is precisely what this composition is about. Mon Paris Intensément is a perfume that gives one vertigo and draws inspiration from the racing heartbeats felt as a loved one approaches. For Crista Cober, the face of the Mon Paris saga since 2016, it evokes that almost wild feeling one experiences when falling in love, when one must trust one's heart, follow one's instinct, all while feeling completely lost. This is precisely the message conveyed in the advertising campaign for the fragrance. This time, Crista Cober appears in one of the Eiffel Tower's elevators, before climbing to its summit, accompanied by her beloved. The two of them exchange passionate kisses as the sun sets over Paris. The song La Bohème by Charles Aznavour only heightens the romanticism of this television campaign. To complete the whole, the house Yves Saint-Laurent accompanied the launch of Mon Paris Intensément with the hashtag #MonParisjetaime. This is a perfume conceived as an intense and powerful declaration of love in the image of the most dizzying Parisian icon: the Eiffel Tower.

Yves Saint-Laurent delivers a floral and intensely luminous breath

Mon Paris Intensément owes its existence to three perfumers, namely Olivier Cresp, Dora Baghriche and Harry Fremont. Together, they chose to combine two very romantic flowers at its heart, to heighten the femininity of this essence: centifolia rose and datura flower. The whole also rests on a woody and sensual note of cashmeran. Mon Paris Intensément is like a love story with the French touch, the sparkling charm of Parisian chic. We wanted to bring more depth to the white chypre that is the signature of Mon Paris, explains the trio of creators, by blending the fascinating fragrance of datura with the richness of rose.
As always, Mon Paris Intensément comes in a beautifully designed bottle. Inspired by a bottle created in 1983 for the perfume Paris, its container displays a new fuchsia pink gradient. A bow of satin and tulle is fixed at its neck, held in place by a small golden plaque, subtly bearing the initials of Yves Saint-Laurent.

The advertising

Yves Saint-Laurent always loved Paris deeply. He saw in it a symbol of all possibilities, of love, culture and independence. Thus, throughout his career, Paris guided his creativity, constantly serving as a new source of inspiration. To pay tribute to him, it was only natural that the house bearing his name created a perfume named Mon Paris. Today, in 2020, this fragrance reinvents itself and gives rise to Mon Paris Intensément, the story of a passionate and scandalous love. Designed for a sensual woman, this essence comes with an advertisement. Its finest face? The Eiffel Tower, of course!

Mon Paris Intensément, symbol of French-style romanticism

Mon Paris Intensément by Yves Saint-Laurent is the story of a new lovestruck vertigo. And this is precisely what emerges from its advertisement. Moreover, the camera spins on itself, as a budding love might be capable of making one's head spin. In this campaign, more than ever, Yves Saint-Laurent showcases the image of French-style romanticism. The Eiffel Tower appears numerous times in the background. Paris immediately appears as the city of love, the one that shines and that the whole world envies. In his time, Yves Saint-Laurent said: There are a thousand places in Paris where I could see you again and crush your roses against my heart. Our roses. The most beautiful. Perhaps you were only a pretext to fulfill my dream: to offer a perfume to Paris. Prestigious Paris that dazzles. Your blazes and your crackling fireworks make the world sparkle. For this new perfume, it is your name that I chose because there is none more beautiful. Because I love you. Mon Paris. It is precisely this mad love that is found in this advertisement.

A couple in love to the sound of La Bohème by Charles Aznavour

To further emphasize the French heritage of Yves Saint-Laurent, the house draws on a true institution of French song. The advertisement for Mon Paris Intensément plays to the sound of La Bohème by Charles Aznavour, remixed by Stelios, a producer and designer based in New York. Here, this song proves more deconstructed, even though its lyrics remain intact, evoking with nostalgia the Parisian life of the Montmartre neighborhood of days gone by. Here, a young woman boards a helicopter to reach the top of the Eiffel Tower. Her young lover, meanwhile, does not hesitate to cross all of Paris to join her. The advertisement ends with a sumptuous sunset, as the two young lovers share a lingering kiss atop the most famous French monument. For Mon Paris Intensément, Yves Saint-Laurent embraces a particularly poetic style.
As a reminder, Mon Paris Intensément comes in a flamboyant fuchsia bottle. As for its scent, it is a floral juice, built around rose and datura, resting on a warm chypre base of cashmeran.
