Then, still evoking feminine desire, this creation was reinterpreted on several occasions. In 2016, it became Caresse de Roses, as well as l’Extase Rose Absolue, and then Rose Extase in 2017. In this continuity, 2018 was also graced with its share of novelties. Get ready to welcome the latest Chant d’Extase from Nina Ricci.

Chant d’Extase, Nina Ricci’s invitation into a lush garden

Chant d’Extase is an invitation to pleasure. In this sense, it is a fragrance fairly close to its predecessors. However, the pleasure depicted here is not the same as before. It is more a desire for discovery and a fascination with a landscape of great beauty. Chant d’Extase takes us into the heart of a lush garden in which the woman lets herself be lulled by the vegetation. Yes, but not only that... As if to further amplify the wondrous and dreamlike aspect of its fragrance, Nina Ricci also drew inspiration from the song of the sirens of legend. Picture it: an exotic garden filled with flowers, in the middle of which lies a pool concealing a siren. Would you dare let yourself be tempted and listen to the sound of her voice?

A new L'Extase bottle signed by Martyna Zoltaszek

The siren in question is, moreover, featured on the new cardboard packaging of Chant d’Extase. She is the central figure of this perfume. To draw her, Nina Ricci called on the Polish artist Martyna Zoltaszek. This illustrator is celebrated for work often inspired by the subtleties of nature. She is renowned for pieces that are always meticulously crafted and filled with countless joyful and colorful details. It is precisely this style that is found on the packaging of the Chant d’Extase perfume. As if to echo the waters from which Nina Ricci’s new siren emerged, the Chant d’Extase bottle has been entirely redesigned in blue. Paired with a few golden details, it carries on Nina Ricci’s refined, Parisian spirit. Its glass shell is absolutely captivating and every detail seems to have been thought through with the utmost care.

Chant d’Extase, a floral and gourmand fragrance composition

So then, how does all this poetry and enchantment take shape on an olfactory level? To create this juice, Nina Ricci called on Francis Kurkdjian, a renowned perfumer with whom she enjoys collaborating on a very regular basis. Here he chose to open the scent with a tangy, fresh and sparkling raspberry note. After all, is this not an ideal ingredient to symbolize the image of a young woman full of life? Then, femininity and romance take over in a floral heart of rose and jasmine. Finally, fully in line with current trends, Chant d’Extase closes on a more gourmand, sweet note of caramel, enough to whet the appetite…
