To create the very first Valentina, in 2011, Valentino drew inspiration from one of its favorite places: its historic headquarters. Indeed, Valentino's workshops are located in the heart of Rome, not far from the Spanish Steps, within the famous Palazzo Mignanelli. The place is enchanting. It is a sixteenth-century residence, steeped in art and history. Moreover, the artistic spirit of the Valentina collection is omnipresent, starting with its bottle. And it is precisely this bottle that we find again in Valentina Acqua Floreale. This juice takes us this time outside the house itself. We now find ourselves rather in the heart of the gardens of the Palazzo. Valentina Acqua Floreale is a name that translates literally as “floral water”. So, it should come as no surprise that this is a fresher, more floral version of the original Valentina. Like its predecessor, Valentina Acqua Floreale was created by the talented perfumer Olivier Cresp. He chose to open the fragrance with a typically Italian pairing. The luminosity of Valentina Acqua Floreale comes through in a duo of Calabrian bergamot and orange blossom. This flower is an emblem of the Mediterranean. Bergamot, for its part, is one of the most famous Sicilian products. Then, neroli further brightens the heart of this fragrance. Mimosa, with its lovely spring-yellow color, brings even more cheerfulness. The femininity of the composition then comes through in a duo of jasmine and tuberose. Valentina Acqua Floreale is a fragrance steeped in poetry and delicacy. Its base, however, proves darker and more structured.
