Fame Collector Blooming Pink

At Paco Rabanne, modernity and avant-garde thinking are never optional. Since the launch of the brand in 1966, the designer has excelled in the art of surprising his audience. This is how he also imagined the masculine fragrance Phantom, in 2021. Its distinctive feature? A robot silhouette and a connected chip integrated into its head. Since June 2022, it has also had its feminine alter ego: Fame. To the great delight of women, the latter is now reinvented in a limited edition. It becomes Fame Collector Blooming Pink.

Fame Collector Blooming Pink, a new bottle that is even more feminine

Fame Collector Blooming Pink reveals itself in a new bottle, without entirely abandoning the design of its predecessor. Indeed, it still takes the shape of a small robot. An NFC chip allows it to connect to a smartphone to access interactive content such as filters, music or games. Fame Collector Blooming Pink also wears sunglasses like a diva. It is adorned with a few piercings. However, its dress, inspired by Paco Rabanne's chainmail, has been transformed. It has traded its silver discs for glittery pink. Fame Collector Blooming Pink clearly places its bet on femininity. It becomes only more radiant and lively for spring 2023. Note also that Fame Collector Blooming Pink is refillable, which reaffirms Paco Rabanne's commitment to protecting resources and the environment.

The embodiment of Paco Rabanne's timeless craftsmanship

Fame Collector Blooming Pink clearly echoes Paco Rabanne's craftsmanship and his early collections. Indeed, when the designer created his house in Paris, he crafted a first assortment of 12 unlikely dresses, in highly contemporary materials. This is how he immediately positioned himself as an avant-garde designer, creating for example a shimmering chainmail dress for Brigitte Bardot or a piece entirely covered in gold plates and diamonds for Françoise Hardy. Fame Collector Blooming Pink immerses us in this history. It speaks to a brilliant and charismatic woman. It is the fragrance of an icon. Designed for women, it heightens desire and embodies the very essence of seduction.

The unchanged scent of Fame Collector Blooming Pink

In terms of scent, however, Fame Collector Blooming Pink remains exactly the same as its predecessor. As a reminder, its composition was created by perfumers Dora Baghriche, Marie Salamagne, Alberto Morillas and Fabrice Pellegrin. It is built around incense. Spicy and dazzling, Fame Collector Blooming Pink also contains vanilla and sandalwood, for a carnal and enveloping result. Jasmine, for its part, gives it a more floral aspect. Finally, mango adds an exotic touch. Fame Collector Blooming Pink is the quintessence of avant-garde luxury, releasing a floral, oriental and fruity scent in its wake.

Olfastory’s review

Since 1966, Paco Rabanne's creations have been synonymous with avant-garde thinking. Indeed, coming from the world of architecture, the designer has never hesitated to integrate unusual materials into his haute couture garments. It is precisely by drawing on this that the fragrance Fame was created, released on June 30, 2022. A tribute to fashion and to Paco Rabanne's inventiveness, it is reinterpreted, nearly a year after its creation, in a limited edition. Here is our review of Fame Collector Blooming Pink.
