In order to properly celebrate this dazzling success, the lovely “Miss Dior” adorned herself with the cherished roses of her tender creator to offer young women a great burst of spring flowers with “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet”, orchestrated by a radiant Natalie Portman, herself delightfully floral...
Natalie Portman makes us dream of a life in pink thanks to “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet”
Natalie Portman has represented the “Miss Dior” range since “Miss Dior Chérie” in 2011. While the fragrances of the great couturier’s lovely “Miss” have evolved and grown to move toward beautiful and gentle sensualities, they have not lost the powerfully bucolic and romantic flowers and flavors of their beginnings. Natalie Portman therefore evolves as well with these great floral gusts that come to stir up the communication campaigns.
For “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” all the Dior elements came together under the discerning eye of Sofia Coppola’s camera to offer the brilliance and elegance of the pure, white charm of Dior’s Haussmannian moldings, as well as a radiant, joyful and self-assured face of the campaign who literally plays in a bath of fresh roses, which seem to settle upon her haute couture gown.
Moreover, the music “La vie en rose” inevitably recalls the historic origins and past splendors of the house of Dior, reincarnated for the occasion with the song by the great Piaf, at least as timeless as the famous couturier perfumer. For make no mistake, “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” is the star, but the true star showcased in Dior’s communication campaigns is... Dior!
“Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” brought about spring...
After women, flowers are the most divine creations, the illustrious Christian Dior stated. “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” was thus created by Demachy as a sort of tribute to the father of “Miss Dior”, like a composition imagined as a dress embroidered with a thousand flowers, as Dior recalls regarding “Blooming Bouquet”.
While the bottle of “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” has been adorned with soft pink hues for this celebration of the flower, the square, tailored-suit shape as well as the delicate bow remain the signature hallmarks of the piece.
As for the fragrance of “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet”, it is of course powerfully floral, but it is also underscored by delicate citrus and green notes which, however, mainly serve to let the flowers play the finest role. From the top notes, bergamot essence from southern Italy combines its tangy sweetness with that of mandarin and grapefruit while bringing its floral facet that will link to the precious heart notes.
The flowers release their divine powers at the heart by diffusing the scents of damanesca rose, peony and lily of the valley, without forgetting the delicate fruity notes of blackcurrant bud and mango. To wrap this symphony of flowers and fruits, white musks diffuse their cottony softness in the base notes while combining with evernyl, patchouli and sandalwood to create a deep and intoxicating sillage for our romantic beauty “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet”.
There is no doubt that with the release of the lovely and tender fragrance “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet”, the house of Dior reaffirms, if it were necessary, its great expertise in selecting and working with luxury floral raw materials. Perfectly carried by a floral symphony orchestrated by a brilliant face of the campaign, Mademoiselle “Miss Dior” cannot help but succumb to the intense charms of such an addictive fragrance!
