This time for Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, the master perfumer drew on the most beautiful floral accords of Miss Dior to create a fragrance as tender and radiant as the first rays of spring sunshine.

François Demachy arrived as the in-house perfumer of the house of Dior in 2006. From then on, he worked on the brand’s greatest cult fragrances to revive or modernize them with new formulas or new variations.
In the case of Miss Dior, born in the 1950s, François Demachy would offer, over the years, new interpretations of the floral lady. For the year 2014, it is the flowers of Miss Dior that take center stage in Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. François Demachy thus composed a tender and springlike Miss Dior, as if to have her wear the famous flower dress that Christian Dior designed in his time.
Of course, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet elegantly wears the most high-quality floral notes but also, a fine novelty, the most sustainable ones. Indeed, the master perfumer would not for a moment imagine using the finest floral essences without a lasting and supportive partnership with the houses that grow them. To establish this new initiative, François Demachy’s laboratories for Dior are now based in Grasse.
Dior attaches great importance to the origin of its raw materials. The house builds a relationship of trust with producers and systematically monitors all its raw materials from harvest to their arrival at the Saint-Jean-de-Braye storage facility, through to their incorporation into a fragrance.

François Demachy’s work for Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is therefore mainly focused on the floral heart notes of Miss Dior. In order to add tenderness and softness to the original composition of Miss Dior, François Demachy worked on a new peony accord. An accord he had to recreate, since nature does not allow its essence to be collected, built from rose notes and the fruity notes of apricot and peach, which gives this Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet its lovely originality.
Indeed, it is especially the heart of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet that François Demachy worked on so that it would be as soft and tender as it is modern and highly elegant. Thus the novel peony accord joins accords of blackcurrant bud and mango, as well as the precious and emblematic damascena rose.
Finally, although having become far airier than its predecessors, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet does not forget to remain just as alluring, thanks to its bewitching, woody and sensual depths.
