Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia
Guerlain immerses us in a bath of flowers with the new Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia. Because fragrances are meant to make us travel, the Aqua Allegoria line by Guerlain takes us to the four corners of the globe, into lush gardens. Since 1999, they have been a tradition that appears every spring, transporting us to a very particular and always natural place.

Where to buy
Once again, in 2021, Guerlain repeats the experience. The house presents a brand new Aqua Allegoria named Flora Salvaggia. With it, put together a true bouquet of wildflowers!
Flora Salvaggia, a very floral essence
Flora Salvaggia by Guerlain is a fragrance that takes us into a vast expanse of wildflowers. This fresh and sophisticated eau de toilette is an invitation to escape. Announcing the arrival of spring, it explores a new garden, this time working around the theme of wildflowers. With it, put yourself in the shoes of a bee, the undisputed symbol of the Guerlain brand, and come gather nectar across stretches of flowers. Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia is a true concentrate of poetry, embodying the spirit of spring better than any other fragrance. With it, Guerlain seeks to draw from nature, with respect, its most beautiful qualities. It should also be noted that this fragrance can be personalized. As Guerlain explains, it pairs wonderfully with other Aqua Allegoria fragrances, such as Bergamotte Calabria, Rosa Rossa, Granada Salvia, or Flora Cherrysia. To do so, simply choose a duo and apply both fragrances successively, in equal parts. A brilliant idea for achieving more depth!
The iconic Bee Bottle by Guerlain
Flora Salvaggia comes, like all the Aqua Allegoria fragrances by Guerlain, in a historic bottle. Its cylindrical shape topped with a dome is a modern evocation of the famous Bee Bottle, designed in 1853 for Eau de Cologne Impériale. Fully modernized by sculptor Robert Granai, it is dressed this time in a mauve hue, emblematic of several wildflowers, such as cornflower, violet, wild chicory, or borage. The whole is further illuminated by a golden dome carved in a honeycomb pattern, accompanied by a floral design signed by American street artist Michael De Feo.
The springlike breath of Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia
Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia by Guerlain is a deeply restorative fragrance, evoking an expanse of flowers. From its very first breath, it resembles tall grasses swaying in the wind. With it, let your heart flutter in contact with unspoiled nature! Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia opens on powdery top notes of violet and watermelon. This second raw material brings a more fruity and aquatic dimension. Then its heart becomes more floral and opulent. With it, the wildflowers light up with jasmine and orange blossom. The whole rests on a luxurious and pure blend of white musks and iris.

Collection film by Arthus-Bertrand
The collection film “Le Monde est notre jardin”, signed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, blends aerial archive footage with scenes shot in France.
The official page for Flora Salvaggia links to an Aqua Allegoria campaign that Guerlain presents as a call to action for change, echoing the song “Courage to Change” by Sia. The campaign covers the collection as a whole and not this single fragrance.
The film for the new-generation collection, titled “Le Monde est notre jardin”, is signed by photographer and director Yann Arthus-Bertrand, for a launch scheduled between February and March 2022. It blends archival footage of the earth seen from the sky with new scenes shot in France, featuring seasonal flowers sourced locally. The filming and post-production are eco-designed: travel by train, local flowers, reuse of archival footage.
The campaign, shot in France, accompanies the twelve fragrances relaunched at the end of February 2022 under the signature “Le monde est notre jardin”. The relationship between Guerlain and Yann Arthus-Bertrand predates this film and continues afterward through a partnership on a feature film.
