This time, Ginger Piccante chose to set down its bags in Asia, offering one of the most symbolic and aphrodisiac scents of the Orient: that of ginger.

Ginger Piccante, when the fire of ginger enters an Aqua Allegoria by Guerlain

Ginger Piccante by Guerlain comes in a bottle common to all the fragrances in the Aqua Allegoria collection. Indeed, the Aqua Allegoria bottle is far from having been chosen at random. It is a modern reinterpretation of the famous Flacon aux Abeilles. With such a design, Ginger Piccante takes us back into the history of this great perfume house, more precisely to 1853, when the Flacon aux Abeilles was given to Empress Eugénie to present her with the Eau de Cologne Impériale. Here, it forms a smooth glass cylinder in which a sun-yellow juice is reflected. The rays of light filter through a dome finely carved in a honeycomb pattern. The whole is topped with a gilded ball, in an infinitely refined style.

Ginger unfolds its full flavor and complexity in this fragrance. It first displays extreme freshness, pairing with a zesty breath of lemon bergamot. It then warms up on contact with pepper. Its heart, meanwhile, expresses all its femininity in a bouquet of roses. Finally, for added character, Aqua Allegoria Ginger Piccante ends with a base of cedar.
