Fuel For Life Elle
Fuel for Life pour Elle: seduction in denim fishnet stockings from Diesel. If Fuel for Life for men and Fuel for Life for women are not Diesel's first fragrance releases, they are in any case the first to enjoy an extraordinary communication campaign built around the flagship values of the famous jeans brand.

Irony, provocation and joie de vivre are the keywords of this fragrance, presented as a resolutely sensual and resolutely modern elixir. So, “Are you alive?”
Fuel for Life: irony, provocation and freedom for a lovely sensual cocktail
Even though the Diesel fragrance license is managed by the L'Oréal group, the ties between the communication of the famous Italian jeans brand and its perfume line are extremely close.
Founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso, the Diesel brand has positioned itself in the luxury jeans segment with incredible success, all while continuing to loudly assert its original philosophy: passion, individuality and freedom of expression are the keywords of the brand and of its founder, Renzo Rosso. When it comes to creating fragrances under the brand's name, it is therefore completely out of the question to depart from this rule of anticonformism.
So Diesel presented Fuel for Life in 2007 with the audacity it was already known for. Fuel for Life does not even need a face of the campaign, so strong, innovative and provocative are the message and the name in a world of somewhat stiff perfumers. Whatever one may say, the evocative advertisements, between sensuality and retro charm, unfold as much in the street as on various screens. Diesel even indulges in the supreme luxury of self-banning itself by circulating an imaginary petition!
Transgression, provocation and sensuality considerably highlight the Fuel for Life fragrance duo, and the feminine version of this sparkling, vitamin-packed juice does not hesitate to warn its audience with an ironic “Use with caution.” Perhaps because of its diabolically gourmand and sensual juice?
Fuel for Life pour Elle, or the essence of a slightly audacious yet always gourmand chypre
The Diesel brand, oscillating between vintage charm and absolute modernity, could not choose any other bottle than a very western, very denim flask to hold this essence of life. For this feminine version of Fuel for Life, the very masculine bottle is dressed in precious and terribly sexy lace.
Composed by Annick Menardo and Thierry Wasser, Fuel for Life pour Elle opens on very tangy notes of orange and grapefruit spiked with pink pepper. Passion fruit and pineapple join these citrus notes to bring their sweet, exotic touch to the top notes. Then the floral heart of jasmine and rose plunges this gourmand into a bath of elegant flowers, further wrapping it in a lovely tender and gourmand orange blossom, itself enveloped in a soft, velvety peach. Red fruits return with force through overdosed blackcurrant and raspberry, for a juice conceived as a treat.
However, this sweet elegance deepens with woody sensuality, offering a completely addictive sillage of cottony white musks enhanced by deeply carnal patchouli.
If humor and provocation are the keywords of Fuel for Life pour Elle, its success is not solely due to the pharaonic budget of the communication built around this charming duo of fragrances. Fuel for Life pour Elle demonstrates, through its power between chypre and gourmand facets, that one can be glamorous while remaining elegant...
