The magic of a bottle that never goes out of style
Let us begin with the discovery of the Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia bottle. Indeed, it is an iconic and historic piece for Guerlain. Like all the fragrances in the Aqua Allegoria saga, Flora Salvaggia comes in a modern reinterpretation of the famous Guerlain Bee Bottle. This bottle was first created in 1853 to hold Eau de Cologne Impériale. This fragrance literally propelled Guerlain into the spotlight. From that date on, the house became an essential perfumer! Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia is therefore another opportunity to immerse oneself in the house's history. Modernized by sculptor Robert Granai, this glass case retains all its splendor, shining notably through its finely carved, gilded dome. To evoke wildflowers, it is enriched with a mauve shade, reminiscent of wild chicory, borage, cornflower, violet, or mallow — all of which are common wildflowers! The whole is also accompanied by a highly floral design, conceived by American street artist Michael De Feo, better known by the nickname “The Flower Guy”. Quite a fitting symbol!
Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia, a floral and luxurious fragrance to personalize
Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia by Guerlain owes its existence to perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk, who chose to draw from nature, with respect, its most beautiful qualities. As such, this creation evokes a floral and natural scent, yet infinitely luxurious. As proof, it closes with one of the most refined ingredients in the entire perfumer's palette: iris. Its powdery breath is paired with white musks. Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia is also lit up by opulent jasmine and orange blossom. Of course, wildflowers are omnipresent. Finally, watermelon brings a slightly more fruity, refreshing, and aquatic touch.
To allow for more depth, Guerlain also invites personalization of the scent of Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia, by pairing it with other compositions from the same range, such as Bergamotte Calabria, Rosa Rossa, Granada Salvia, or Flora Cherrysia. To do so, simply choose two Aqua Allegoria fragrances and combine them by spraying them successively on the skin.
