Aqua Allegoria Teazzura
Aqua Allegoria Teazzura: Thierry Wasser and the splendors of Southern Italy The Aqua Allegoria collection, created in 1999 by Guerlain and its iconic perfumer Jean-Paul Guerlain, revealed to the world magnificent summer fragrances.

Where to buy
In 2009 it is Thierry Wasser, the Guerlain nose, who now composes the new Aqua Allegoria fragrances, including the lovely Aqua Allegoria Teazzura, a blend of a summer tea with the delicate scent of jasmine. A new fragrant journey opens at our door...
Aqua Allegoria Teazzura or the wind of renewal of a legendary Guerlain range
Thanks to the Aqua Allegoria collection, every summer we have the pleasure of rediscovering all the expertise of the house of Guerlain in a fresh and exotic Eau. While Jean-Paul Guerlain steered this iconic collection for its first ten years, it was Thierry Wasser who took over in 2010, releasing Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa and so many other marvels.
While Thierry Wasser still offers splendid compositions built around one or two choice raw materials, the commercial concept of Aqua Allegoria has been modernized to better renew itself. Indeed, while the fragrance still does not have a face of the campaign, the visual will now be accompanied by an advertisement. Moreover, the packaging of the new Aqua Allegoria will also undergo a few small “face-lifts”.
However, for Aqua Allegoria Teazzura, born in 2015, the visual and commercial approach remains unchanged, and it is indeed the work on the aesthetics of the image that takes precedence. Aqua Allegoria Teazzura is thus surrounded by a phantasmagorical cage of jasmine and honeysuckle flowers that highlight the materials used in the fragrance.
Aqua Allegoria Teazzura, a tea freshness to be enjoyed without moderation...
The bottle of Aqua Allegoria Teazzura remains identical to the first fragrances in the collection, except that the water visible through the transparency of Robert Granai’s work takes on an azure blue color, creating a composition in perfect harmony with the theme of the olfactory journey on offer. Thus each Aqua Allegoria is assigned its own color, of course coordinated with the theme it presents.
Aqua Allegoria Teazzura opens on tangy, exotic top notes from a citrus cocktail blending lemon, Calabrian bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit, and the lovely Asian yuzu. Then the famous fresh and fragrant tea accord comes into its own with the floral splendors of Grandiflorum jasmine from southern Italy, honeysuckle, and neroli. The touch of hedione is particularly delicious, evoking the experience of sipping this iced tea by the sea. Finally, the sweetness of violet, wrapped in cottony white musks, is powdered with heliotrope to better melt into the gourmand sillage of vanilla.
Teazzurra is a zen and refreshing Eau de Toilette, an opportunity to savor a green tea by the shore of a lake with azure reflections, according to the house of Guerlain.
The evocative power of the house of Guerlain’s fragrances no longer needs to be pointed out. Clearly, perfumery is emblematic of these fragrances that make us travel and dream, that let us feel the moment as one feels a season. The magic of Aqua Allegoria lies in bringing together, in a single fragrance, one accord magnified so perfectly that it needs no addition. Aqua Allegoria Teazzura magnifies the tea accord, offering a fresh and invigorating fragrance that never forgets to be elegantly floral.
